Three-head cassette deck compatible with metal tape.
For the re-recording head, a combination head, a 1.4mm close-gap metal R&P head, is adopted.
This head consists of recording heads and playback heads with theoretically analyzed gap
lengths for recording and playback in one case with a gap interval of 1.4 mm. In addition,
the cross-feed caused by the magnetic coupling of the recording and playback heads has
been addressed by introducing Rowdy's own new technology to keep the noise level below
the noise level.
The mechanism uses a two-motor mechanism and a dual capstan system, and an
electronically controlled DC motor is used for capstan drive and a DC motor is used for
fast forward, rewind, and winding.
It adopts an IC logic control system, and the operability is improved by a one-package IC
that simplifies the circuit, and high durability and high reliability are acquired.
