explanation
A player system that follows the flow of PD121/PD131.
The drive system is a direct drive system.
The drive motor adopts brushless & slotless flat DC servo motor. By removing the slot of
the motor, which is one of the causes of magnetic uneven rotation, and combining it with
a turntable with a large moment of inertia that concentrates most of the weight on the outer
circumference, a highly stable rotation is achieved.
The tonearm uses a straight type static balanced tonearm.
It is a straight arm to prevent resonance due to insufficient strength, which is common in
arms dedicated to high-compliance cartridges, and the bearing part has a double-pipe structure
as a countermeasure against resonance.
This arm integrates the cartridge shell and tonearm to increase rigidity and reduce resonance
with excellent trackability.
The dust cover uses an acrylic plate laminated type dust cover that is advantageous for
anti-feedback characteristics.
When the dust cover is closed, the weight is placed on the player's body, making it an
effective anti-feedback measure.
The flutter mat is shaped to fit the record perfectly. In addition, the surface has a special
treatment finish to make it easy to blend in with the record.
High-density rubber is used to dump not only the record but also the turntable itself strongly.
The power supply uses an ultra-thin OI core type power transformer with extremely low
leakage flux to achieve stable rotation and improved signal-to-noise ratio.
The operation unit uses a one-lever, two-action switch mechanism, and the power can be
turned on / off and the speed can be switched with a single lever.
It is equipped with a mirror reflective stroboscope.
It is equipped with an oil-dumped arm lifter.
It is equipped with a thread-hanging lever-type inside force scanner.
