Appearing in 1982, the DMA-100 class A amplifier was the first power amplifier to meet the standards of the Spectral performance envelope.
The DMA-100 was the first, direct coupled, high speed, DC-to-megahertz amplifier for audio and the first high speed medium band (up to low radio frequency) amplifier for laboratory use.
The first full FET technology power amplifier, utilizing J-FETs as well as power MOSFETs. The DMA-100 was a true 100 watt amplifier, capable of delivering 100 watts per channel into any load.
The first solid state amplifier with no capacitors in the signal path.
