An armless player system equipped with a cabinet for TTS 2500.
A direct drive turntable equivalent to TTS-2500 is used for the turntable part.
In the direct drive system, the motor shaft is a turntable as it is, so there is no part that rotates
faster than the rotation of the record, and there is no cause for vibration. In addition, the
rotation condition is constantly monitored by a frequency-generator (FG) directly connected to
both the motor and turntable, and wow and flutter are reduced by a servomechanism that
maintains the specified rotation speed.
The motor is equipped with the same AC servo motor as the TTS-4000. By applying the
principle of eddy current (overcurrent), it does not generate discontinuous torque in principle
and realizes smooth rotation.
In addition, reliability is improved by using a dedicated IC for the servo circuit.
It is equipped with a large neon-tube strobe.
Since the arm board part is independent from the cabinet, replacement of the arm can
be performed easily.
Also, there was a replacement arm board sold separately.
The cabinet has a walnut finish and contains a special shock absorber to absorb
external vibrations.
Also, the removable acrylic dust cover is designed with a fleece top.

Commentary
This universal tone arm has a simple design to produce a good sound without
unnecessary decoration and processing.
The inside four scan cellar and needle pressure application mechanism have a very
simple structure, and reliable operation is possible.
