Pioneer PD-HL1 ¥ 39,000 (released in 1998)
Commentary
A CD player that uses a turntable system that inherits the technology of high-end machines.
We have newly introduced the Z concept as a design concept.
The Z concept pursues accurate music signal transmission in order to realize a more
three-dimensional three-dimensional sound field reproduction. Specifically, legato link
conversion is achieved by eliminating unnecessary vibrations that affect the rotation accuracy
of the disc and signal reading accuracy, reducing unnecessary noise that adversely affects
weak music signals, and expulsion of jitter that occurs in the signal transmission process.
And Hi-bit effect is exhibited at a higher level.
The turntable mechanism original with Pioneer is carried in the mechanism part.
In this method, the moment of inertia is improved about three times by supporting the entire surface of the disk from below, and stable disk drive is realized.
Moreover, the clean laser pickup is adopted as a pickup part.
This pickup has reduced the power loss by removing the optical component such as
a collimator lens, and has realized the signal reading of low distortion.
Pioneer's Hi-bit technology is adopted as a digital circuit.
This technology focuses on minute-level signals with less than the number of quantization bits,
and requantizes 16-bit data in CD format to 24-bit in order to estimate the waveform of the
original sound from the data recorded on the CD, and the human ear. The dynamic range
is expanded to the maximum amount of 120 dB that can be completely cured, and the quantization distortion is reduced to reproduce a smooth waveform closer to the original
sound.
The legato link conversion is carried and the music signal of the audible band over 20kHz
cut by a compact disk format is reproduced by estimating from the signal in an audible band
and the 1 / f characteristic.
DAC24 is adopted as a D / A conversion part.
The DAC24 has acquired 24-bit resolution by giving it 8 levels in the amplitude direction,
and faithfully converts the data expanded by Hi-bit and legato link conversion (resolution 24
bits, frequency band about 40 kHz). However, the resolution of 120dB or more is realized in
the band up to 40kHz or more.
The 3 part 3 regulation circuit is adopted as a power circuit.
It is equipped with various search functions and program functions.
The honeycomb structure is adopted as a chassis.
Comes with a wireless remote control.
