explanation
This is the third generation of the 4311 speaker system used in studios and broadcasters
around the world.
The low frequency range is equipped with a 30cm cone-type woofer 2213H.
The unit uses white cone paper coated with JBL's proprietary white dumping agent,
a 7.5cm diameter copper ribbon wire edgewise voice coil, and a 4.7kg low-distortion magnetic
circuit to achieve a minimum resonant frequency of 22Hz.
The midrange is equipped with a 13cm cone-shaped squawker LE5-10.
By driving a 15,000 gauss magnetic circuit and a 2.2 cm diameter voice coil on hard cone paper,
it achieves a smooth frequency response and a wide directivity.
For high frequencies, it is equipped with a 3.6cm cone-type tweeter LE25-2.
It is equipped with independent level controls for mid and high frequencies.
This level control is designed to be adjustable even with the front grille installed.
The front baffle is designed for hanging use in small studios and control rooms, and has a unit
layout with a squawker and tweeter at the bottom.
There were two types of exteriors: gray finish and walnut finish.
